Terms of Use

Last updated: 2026-09-26

1. Purpose

These terms ("Terms of Use") govern access to and use of the Kuratos Discord bot and dashboard ("the Service"), published by Yann ADORNI (sole trader), SIRET 978 733 723 00040. By using the Service you accept them in full. Paid plans are additionally governed by the Terms of Sale, and data processing by the Privacy Policy.

2. Access to the Service

Access to the dashboard requires authentication through Discord (OAuth2). You must hold a valid Discord account, meet the minimum age Discord requires in your country, and be the owner or an administrator of a server in order to configure the Service there. The Service is free in its base version; some features are reserved for paid plans.

3. Acceptable use

You undertake to use the Service in compliance with applicable law, the Discord Terms of Service and its community guidelines. In particular, you may not use it to distribute unlawful content, harass others, evade a sanction, automate abuse, or interfere with the operation of the Service or the platform (reverse engineering, abnormal load, attempts to access data that does not concern you).

4. Server administrator responsibility

A server administrator is solely responsible for how the Service is configured on their server, for the content they distribute through it (messages, rewards, events, sanctions) and for informing their members. When they enable modules that process member data, they act as the data controller for their server; the publisher then acts as a technical processor.

5. User-generated content

You retain ownership of the content you publish through the Service (reviews, suggestions, tickets, reports). You grant the publisher a free, non-exclusive licence to host and display it, solely as needed to operate the Service, for as long as it remains published. You warrant that you hold the necessary rights to what you publish.

6. Reviews and content moderation

Reviews published on the Service must be genuine and relate to a real experience. How they are collected. A review is posted by someone signed in with their Discord account, one review per account, and appears immediately: it is not read before publication, and the publisher checks neither that its author is a customer nor that they use the Service. No review is bought or solicited in exchange for any advantage. Reviews are displayed newest first, and the average rating covers every published review, with no exception. Removal. The publisher reserves the right to refuse, change the visibility of, or delete, without notice and without compensation, any review or content containing malicious, insulting, defamatory, hateful, discriminatory, threatening, sexual, promotional, fraudulent or off-topic remarks, or infringing the rights or privacy of a third party. The same applies to suggestions, reports and messages sent to support. A review is never edited in its content; it is published as it is or taken down. A deleted review may be challenged at the address given in section 12; the publisher never deletes a review merely because it is negative.

7. Paid plans

Paid plans, their prices, billing, the right of withdrawal, refunds and cancellation are described in the Terms of Sale, which prevail over these Terms of Use in all matters relating to the sale.

8. Personal data

The processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. You may at any time view, export or erase your data from the My data page, without having to contact the publisher.

9. Availability

The Service is provided "as is". The publisher endeavours to keep it available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, in particular during maintenance, a hosting incident, or an outage, change or restriction imposed by Discord. Service status is published on the Status page.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the publisher is not liable for indirect damages arising from the use of or inability to use the Service, for moderation decisions made by server administrators, or for data loss attributable to Discord or a third party. None of these limitations exclude the publisher's liability for gross or wilful misconduct, for personal injury, or the statutory guarantees owed to consumers.

11. Termination and suspension

You may stop using the Service at any time by removing the bot from your server, and delete your account from the My data page. The publisher may suspend or terminate access in the event of a breach of these Terms, with prior notice except in an emergency or where required by law; where a paid subscription is running, the unused portion is refunded if the suspension is not attributable to the customer.

12. Changes to these Terms

These Terms may be updated. The version in force is the one published on this page, whose update date appears at the top. Any substantial change affecting a running subscription is notified to the customer, who may cancel free of charge if they do not accept it.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by French law. Where the user is a consumer residing in another country, this choice does not deprive them of the mandatory protections of the law of their habitual residence: between two rules, the one more favourable to them applies. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution is sought first at [email protected]; failing that, the consumer may use a consumer mediator free of charge, or bring the matter before the court of their place of residence.
